1Ticket Policy

All tickets are assigned a table number and held at Will Call.  The deadline for reservations and/or cancellations is noon two working days before the event.  Tickets are not available at the door.  All tables of ten are charged at the member price.  We generally offer as many guest-priced tickets as a member requests; however, the Council reserves the right to enforce the limitations listed above or to determine specific ticket restrictions for any given event.  This is generally done for reasons of security.  For such events the Council will make every effort to be fair to all members.  Tickets are sold on a first-come first-served basis within membership categories until sold out.

2 Publication discounts are listed at our web site, www.lawac.org, and are subject to change.  Members currently receive a free subscription to Foreign Policy Magazine.

3 Donor, Patron and IC receptions begin half an hour before events.  Reception access can be restricted, most often for reasons of security.  The opportunity for a picture with the guest speaker is provided at the reception.  This is complimentary for IC members, $15 for all others. Donor memberships receive two reception passes.

4 Evening Seminars are more casual dinners and discussions with guest speakers open to Donor level members and above

5 Other International Circle Benefits

·       Roundtable luncheons (approx. 18 a year) are off-the-record Q&A sessions with a guest speaker.  Limited seating (25), reserved on a first-come first-served basis.  Phone reservations only.

·       IC members are invited to the annual Consular Corps Reception along with all Chefs de Poste currently stationed in Los Angeles (around 100).

·       Each year the Council selects a diplomat to receive its Diplomat of the Year Award.  The recipient is honored at our annual, black-tie Diplomats’ Dinner.  Invitations to Board and IC members only.

·       IC members receive a personal leather-bound album of their year with the Council, featuring pictures of them with speakers and parchments commemorating the event.
