The Young Associates Program is making some exciting changes
Are you interested in international affairs and
want to be engaged and entertained by leading authorities on the subject?
Are you a student or young professional looking to meet people with
similar interests and passions?
Or are you simply looking for a way to socialize, meet new people, and
get connected in your community?
The Young Associates
Program (part of the
Los Angeles World Affairs Council) may
be for you.
Here’s the short version:
·
Come enjoy Young
Associates-only events and meet other young people
in the community with similar interests.
·
Find out how you can get better connected in
the community and involved
with important world events (such as Haiti relief).
·
Meet with friends and other members before an
event for dinner and
drinks – then attend the event at heavily
discounted prices.
·
Gain private access to VIP receptions, spend
some private time with the
featured speaker, or ask the speaker a
question in the Q&A forum.
·
Have the opportunity to suggest ideas and
speakers for future events.
·
We’re also currently revamping
our Facebook page – we want to be friends with you!
Interested? Use the links above to
learn more and explore our web site for more details, or feel free to
contact the Membership Director with any questions – it’s only $30 for students
and $55 for all others. Not eligible
to join the Young Associates? You
should still join the Council!
Let us know if that’s
your preference -- we'll be happy to help.
